i am determining the dehydrogenase enzyme activity in soil. for this TTC is not available in lab kindly suggest me any alternate
Dear Tajudidin, we use iodonitotetrazolium formazan (INTF) frequently in place of TTC. See link to our published paper below:

TTC is used to differentiate between metabolically active and inactive tissues. It is actually a redox indicator. To our experience, we find that INT (Curl and Sandberg,1961), was also equally effective compound. But I should say if you want to measure total microbial activity then go for FDA method. We find that FDA method represented 95% Fungi and entire bacteria and actinomycetes activities whereas TTC method is only representing 5% fungal activity beside bacteria and actinomycetes activities.
