Yes Bruce, but I need some QC reagent to validate WST8 assay. So that this assay can be validated for different samples.

Since the kit uses formazan, I would use a tetrazolium salt.

Thanks Bruce for your suggestion. Could you suggest me if I can use NADH, because this is what we measure in the reaction.

I have no idea whether this enzyme uses NADH or ATP for an energy source (do an internet search). But it would be nice!
