How we can measure plant height of maize at maturity?
a) Up to the tip of the tassel of male flower.
b) up to the node of top leaf or base of the tassel.
c) up to the folded base of the top leaf
d) By straightening the top leaf
e) Any other
I think option a is the right choice and the leaves may be destroyed sometime and it makes measurement difficult. The thing is you have to be consistent in the method you choose and there are different ways proposed to measure plant height according to different growth stage and purposes.

Hi Everyone, the right measure is from ground level to the base of the tassel, after milk stage. However,you can use an alternative methods as long as you mark in your paper.
