We have recently finished our long time research work about Carbon sequestration. In the initial stage of the work, I solely developed some new method of work which was reviewed by two of my teachers and that initialization of work is submitted and recorded in the proceedings of a conference. After that, I was assisted with two of my juniors and the work was expanded at large. At last, we have been able to finalize the work with every detailing and expanding. Now, we want to publish the whole work in a reputed journal. But, we have to write similar data from previous conference paper and a good portion of writing will also be the same. This can be regarded as 'self plagiarism'. What should be done in this situation? Here, I also want to address that some of the editors did not even reply when I wanted some suggestions.

It is common in research for authors to publish preliminary data in conferences, then publish the full text in a journal. It is less of an issue when the conference does not publish its proceedings online or in an affiliated journal. Regarding the overlap, here is what you should do:
1. Fully disclose in the acknowledgement section that preliminary data of this study was presented at X conference at ... (Year).
2. Exapnd your findings and focus on the new ones obtained after publishing that conference proceeding.
3. If you will include any data of those already published, you must make sure they are fully paraphrased.

I totally agree with Dr. Ibrahim on his comments above, if ever you need data the already published conference proceedings for your new journal publication, ensure they are paraphrased lest it becomes a case of self-plagiarism.

I have to show the same figures, tables and procedure method from previous paper. Will this be a problem?
Let me ask first is the conference proceeding published online? And if so, on a normal website or an affiliated scientific journal?
Yes, the paper published online in their website. The conference has affiliation with a journal and in their website they mention that best papers will be published in that journal. The conference was arranged on past December, 2017 and until now there is no announcement. Should I contact them? If so, and even if they don't publish the work in their journal, will there be any problem regarding the use of same information from previous paper?
