A positive learning environment is simply a learning environment that encourages learning to take place. It is usually a friendly environment.
It is an atmosphere which is suitable and conducive for the learner for learning to take place. It goes beyond the physical environment but it cuts across the mental, social and emotional atmosphere of the environment.
For instance a learner who has been physically or emotionally abused by a teacher just before a lesson, will find it difficult to learn in such an atmosphere.
Such an environment cannot be said to be a positive learning environment, since it doesn't encourage the learner to learn.
It's basically a learning environment with exclusion of global politics.
