Dear Hanuman, it might be good idea to study soil-moisture estimates as generated by the European Space Agency daily basis, since 1980 its free. After that you do application of the soil moisture estimates for assessing the impact of climate change on agriculture.
Using the passive as well the active microwave sensors, soil moisture estimates were generated on a daily basis and these data are available for large part of the world

The data were downloaded for every fifth day during the cropping season.
