Annealing : The materials is treated at elevated temperature for improving the properties.
Materials annealing can lead phase transition, re-crystallization, homogenization, relaxation of internal stress, rearrangement defect and so on.
The result of annealing depend significantly on its kinetic: the rate (time dependent) of heating or cooling of exposure at a given temperature.
There are two types of annealing:
1. Isothermal Annealing - long time materials exposed at a constant temperature.( Materials with defect of particular type)
2. Isochronal Annealing - During the materials exposed, successively increasing in temperature with respect to time. (Presence of defect of different Kinds)
