Nowadays, the terms information and knowledge used interchangeably though these two terms have distinct meanings. Scholars have no consensus over the definitions of information and knowledge. In this regard, I just wanted to know the exact meanings of these two terms. How we can understand these two terms in a pragmatic way. Please explain these concepts through examples in order to develop proper understanding.

In addition to this I have few interpretations which I am writing below kindly let me know whether these correct or not.

1. knowledge is always true but information may or may not.

2. Knowledge at the first hand is information but one received that information and used it in his/her own way it becomes knowledge.
