Democracy links to a genetic or epigenetic regulation? Can we create democratic mice or humans? The switch on/off of Democratic values depend on the social; memories; spatial properties of the individual or the society?
Are we democratic individuals or just members of social groups who follow?
Democracy is mostly a social achievement, built upon centuries of human experiences and efforts, with innumerable trials and errors. In fact, democratisation is an ongoing, never-ending process.
I have no answer to the question on whether democracy can be found on mice etc. But even animal kingdoms are guided by certain rules... and in the long run, rules will be obeyed when they are perceived to be just. Now, what is animal kingdom's sense of justice, we have no methodology till now, to decode them.
Let me share an anecdote with you, which is widely circulated in social media in our part of the world:
A tiger had an argument with a donkey - the latter was saying that the colour of grass is blue. The Tiger protested loudly: 'no, it is green.' For settlement, they approached the king of the jungle, the Lion, who again fined the tiger with a penalty. The tiger said, 'Sir, I was correct, but you penalised me? This is unfair.' The lion replied, 'you got into argument with a donkey and that way wasted both mine and yours time.'

Democracy is of course the best system of government and the best elective form. As I have argued, democracy is also a form of behavior. When political institutions perform democratically, when political actors also behave democratically, then the citizenry has strong incentives to behave in the same way. But for democracy to be effectively a form of behavior, people need to learn to live in a democracy. In this, in addition to political institutions, the values of democracy are very important.

Some talk about Democratic Space. This spatial control of Democracy relies on Geometrical / Mathematical rules ?, what is the minimal distance between two individuals, under which circonstances this distance functions?, etc.;; or relies to another type of control the one of Biological Space?
The Virtual Space : money, life, new technologies....., is the mean to switch the Democratic Regimes to NON Democratic Regimes who STILL will Claim Legitimacy?
