Communication is the blood of project management. You will essentially need to look at two areas. First, internal which means communication within your team and second, external, communicating with your customers. Failure will lead into project delays, escalations and finally a bad reputation for yourself and the organisation. Project management handles the concept of communication into these two broad areas. You can finally dive deeper with these two areas.
