Hello everyone,

I am looking at some gut bacterial strains. within one genus, some species are more abundant than others. I managed to isolate these species but I would like to understand if the competition exists among these species. Therefore, I would like to find out if a competition test can be done in vitro cultures, if so, any protocol that one can recommend. Also, I would want to test the same in an animal model. Kindly help.
