I have numerous sites with surface measurements, and a model data output for said locations. I have already preformed a scatter plot and "R" value analysis comparison. Of these sites there is 3 types of zoning classifications. Can I average the "R" values of each classification or will I need to put all data together for each zoning classification and recalculate the "R" values for each group?
Scatter plots are used to observe relationships between variables and show relationships between two numeric variables. Scatter plots can also display if there are any unexpected gaps in the data and if there are any outlier points. You will see the variable on the horizontal axis signified an independent variable, and the variable on the vertical axis the dependent variable. Relationships between variables can be called in many ways: positive or negative, strong or weak, linear or nonlinear. You can divide data points into clusters based on how closely sets of points cluster or group together.
