I am looking into purchasing a drone-based airborne LiDAR for mapping archaeological sites and cultural landscape in forested areas in Mexico and Central America.
Can anyone provide some viable options?
I got a quote from vendor Riegl for a VUX-1UAV LiDAR sensor with APX-20 IMA-GNSS mounted on a RiCOPTER drone. The quote is about USD 200,000 and I would like to compare it with other stable and reliable platforms from other vendors.
Any advise is much appreciated.

I have recently attended a workshop held by Riegl and saw their new unmanned LiDAR option. It's incredible:

Price is definitely in the very very high range.
I am planning to buy one of these mounted on a RiCOPTER and am actively seeking for funding. I hope to have one by summer 2019.

@ Nicola Lercari , did you get the LiDAR from Riegl. I have been trying to get a quote from them for the VUX-1 series of lidar and the RIEGL VUX-240 , but they are increrdibly slow to respond. I was looking for a price range.
