Regarding power and energy densities of supercapacitors. What is a Ragone plot? How do I plot it?
Hi, Ragone plot is a plot of power density against energy density. If plotted power density x direction and energy density y direction, fuel cell is located at top-left as it has relatively high energy density and low power density, capacitor is at bottom-right. The perfect energy device has both high energy and power density, which located at top-right. So this is a straightforward way to judge an energy device by the location on the plot.
You should get the energy and power densities at different charging rate, first. Then plot together with similar capacitors, or fuel cells, Li-batteries.
You can plot this if the performance of your device is perfect. It's doesn't make sense if got a poor one. Good luck!
