3D Printing in Construction is definitely an interesting and trending area to research within construction management.
From both research and practice perspectives, BIM is more mature and popular than 3D Printing. There is obviously a link between BIM and 3D Printing in Construction but I believe this link has not been comprehensively explored (albeit slightly anecdotal).
I have not started with the 3D Printing research and cannot propose any direction but you could start with a simple google search using the following search strings
1. BIM AND "3D Printing" AND Construction
2. "Building Information Modeling" + "3D Printing"
You will definitely get some interesting hits or results. I will love to know what you find.

There are two practical ways to find relevant topics that have real-world applications
1. You may talk to some practitioners and identify the 'wicked' problems they face in their construction management practices. From their concerns, you can derive a topic and reconcile it with a review of literature relevant to the problem. The review is necessary because the problem may have be solved elsewhere in the literature and there would be no need to reinvent the wheel
2. A robust thesis title and content must always start with a comprehensive review of literature to identify knowledge or research gaps. From the gaps, you may now derive your thesis title.
Note: It is not common among men to easily identify a research or knowledge gap, especially in this era of the info-apocalypse, but you still have to use this approach anyways.
In relation to a good research topic for a master degree in construction management, I will suggest that you explore and discuss the following areas with your (potential) supervisor:
a. Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning in Construction Management
b. Robotics in Construction
3. Circular economy (Circonomy) in Construction
4. Big-data in Construction
5. Blockchain technologies in Construction
6. Building Information Modeling
7. Off-site, Modular and Industrialized Construction
8. Computer Vision, Digital Twinning and Construction Site Safety Management
These areas are by far the most trending research domains in construction engineering and management.

Whatever you pick it needs to be close to your heart. Whilst the suggestions here are all very good, if you have limited personal interest your thesis is going to be very painful and you are going to struggle with motivation. Something that is different from the norm is also a good idea. Where I did my UG degree the standard dissertation subject always seemed to be around factors affecting property prices in a certain location. Utterly dull and it had been cover a thousand times before.
Whatever you pick it is also worthwhile carrying out an initial sanity check for available literature as limited literature can make your life very difficult, especially when it comes to comparing your own findings against existing ideas or evidence.
You can investigate the viability of using BIM in developing countries. What solutions are feasible for small medium enterprises who are not able to utilize BIM?

1. Big construction projects seem to encounter more and more societal and environmental resistance (especially in "democratic" countries), with inevitable late starts, disruptions and time & cost overruns, or even cancellations.
