Dear All,

I hope I can receive your help in order to have a much broader overview.

Can you please provide your feedback about all possible laboratory testings that can be executed on cylindrical samples taken from stone masonry?

I see two categories of testings: on the sample and on the mortar only.

For the masonry:

- chemical-physical characterization

- compressive strength,

- tensile and shear strength,

- Young's modulus,

etc.

For the mortar:

- chemical characterization,

- sclerometric and/or penetrometric tests (Schmidt-Hammer, Windsor, etc)

- double punch test,

etc.

Thank you again for any feedback, please also specify the reference.

Kind regards,

Alban Kita
