*Young companies - 0 to 5 years of existence *Quantitive methods only
The reason why I am seeking your opinion on quantitative methods only is because I am interested to find out what has worked well for you and why and not because I won`t be using qualitative methods in the research. This research will be measuring other phenomena as well and will include respondents from Bulgaria (or other parts in Europe too) as well as USA.
Also, young companies as I would like to focus efforts into figuring out way to overcome challenges in newly started ventures. Startups and new entrepreneurial activities is mostly what I am interested in - in search of better ways to help them grow as sustainably developing companies.

The age group 0-5 years is normally considered to be the same strata, so you expect some degree of homogenity in the group.
My experience with such professional accounting firms is that one needs to explore both quantitative and qualitative methods. For example, such nascent firms allude that they typically use inexperienced staff (0-1 years' work experience) because their job expectations are lower than experienced employees. Such responses are based on feedback on a Likert scale on the questionnaire. But the qualitative method of in-depth interviews allows us to find out why and how?
For example, we want to learn from their interactions with experienced staff. Did they leave after a few months or years of working in the firm and what were the reasons from the exit interviews (if any)?
In our research, we have also borrowed from other studies that linked customer satisfaction to employee job satisfaction and retention.

Job Satisfaction is a construct. You can find in literature many instruments being developed to measure Job Satisfaction. You download and customized to suit your study. Use the interval scale between 1-10.
