We know from experience that destruction is more efficient than construction. If that is so then time must run backward on a closed curve. In such a scenario construction is what follows after destruction. Furthermore if the universe was ever constructed then it must be constructed very efficiently. But as we said earlier it must be the other way -- it was destroyed very efficiently.
It is not so that destruction is more efficient than construction. The observation is that it is easier to destroy than construct in many cases.
For the rest there is no logic in your reasoning and that fits with that we do not observe that time runs backwards!
Destruction is on the other hand of construction, simply the opposite sometimes makes things easier to become. So, if the universe was constructed for a reason, and that reason include its destruction , that it should become a second nature in a logical equation of a closed curved time-life. Efficiency is a parameter of having things done right.
If it is assumed that time runs backward, it has very interesting consequences. It eliminates 'why'. For example, why things happen? They happen because it is predetermined.
