I work with a professional body who 'champions work and working lives' and tonight at a board meeting we discussed the increasing roles of robots in our workplaces.
We were curious to learn more about what might change.
What are you views on this?
Any more specifically, what if the rules from the movie "I, Robot" were enforced:
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
What might we see changing in our workplaces?
