Professional Nurse Advocate - PNA training for nurses is fairly new.

Pointers on values of Restorative Clinical Supervision - RCS and its benefits is evident in the Professional Midwifery Advocate - PMA's A-EQUIP Model.

PNA supervisors are being trained currently with the A-EQUIUP model so you need to do extensive reading around the model. if you are new on the training, use your course book as a guideline to do your literature search on previous works done by PMA from 2017 to date.

Hi, I raised this recently at a working group meeting, we are all participating in the PNA module and I feel strongly about the support we as supervisors receive, so we are looking to implement in the policy update (locally) how we as supervisors also access supervision. Some of my colleagues access a clinical psychologist for their supervision but this may not be sustainable as the PNA numbers grow

Our Director of Nursing is very proactive in her support of this role, with the noted lack of literature during my studies on the PNA course on this provision, it is an area I am keen to explore more if I am fortunate to attain my qualification, you never know we might even get something published on the topic! :)

Professional Nursing Advocate is a new inclusive work being introduce to the entire nursing community by different term by some countries.As lot of problems arising in nursing itself so new term like PNA being introduce to tackle and solve the problems arise among nurses in their daily job activites.It will be a bench mark in nursing future although its function already started lately in the name of nursing supervisor thou PNA name is not being used officially.
