When two electromagnetic waves traveling meet at a point at the same instant of time, what exactly happens to each wave (photons) at that particular instant? Both photons are supposed to be at the same position in space at the given specific instant which is not possible as per uncertainty principle. So can anyone explain what actually happens to the wave at that particular instant.
Waves are not point objects. What is your exact problem interaction of waves of two photons only?

Two different waves can exist in the same space (and point also). They simply interefere.
If they are in two different frequency meeting at a same point there will be no interference .
It is not necessary for intereference to have two waves of the same frequency. Consider the instant vectors of different waves and try to find their superposition (vector addition).
I guess this answer solves my doubt of existence of 2 different energy at a same point at same instant...
