What happens if negative SiV center in diamond is excited with a nonresonant laser light, say 514nm?

Exciting negative SiV center with 737 nm laser pulse, resonant with the D1 transition is generally done for measuring fluorescence. What if laser light of shorter wavelength is used , say 514 nm?
