For a 2nd year undergraduate course on 'the development of pro and antisocial behavior' I am looking for a useful textbook. Preferably a handbood that covers both topics from a developmental as well as a more social psychological perspective, and (if possible) also discussing the evolutionairy perspective.
As it seems hard to find a good quality textbook covering both topics I have for now settelled for Dovidio's handbook on prosocial behavior for the prosocial part. For the literature on aggression I am considering Baron & Richardson. However, as the last edition of this textbook was edited in 1994, the handbook might be a bit outdated. The edited book 'developmental origins of aggression' is of good quality, but seems somewhat too specific to use as a handbook for the course.
If anyone has further handbook recommendations, I would be happy to hear them.
