Does the JT heating affect the formation, deposition, accumulation and treatment of wax in oil and gas pipelines and risers? To what extent does this affect the efficiency of wax inhibitors and other remediation measures?

Can JT Heating be factored into numerical, compositional or CFD models for wax prediction? If so what considerations could be made to achieve this?

Do bench scale, flow loop or field scale wax testing experiments consider the JT heating effect in their design and operating procedure? I would appreciate if as many persons as possible share their knowledge, experience and relevant literature on this.
