If the Journal shows the status of your paper "Archived" within a month or two what does it mean.
It means that it has been digitized and is now available through archive services such as JSTOR and others that libraries use to make works readily available. And probably also that it has gone to the abstracting services.
It means that it has been made available online for public view where researchers can found it anytime on journal site by going to the respective volume and issue.
If your paper has been Archived within a week or month it Means paper will not go for review process.
But many times situations may change according to journal guide line.
It may also means that the paper has been rejected/declined. You may check through your Spam messages to see if a rejection message has been sent to you.
It means, the review process is over. Acceptence Or rejection of manuscript will be decided by the editor of the journal.

And received their response as follows:

It shows that status to you because your paper has moved to production, and the files that you had submitted are archived on the ScholarOne system. This is done to keep the files safe.
As per the file storage settings, the files were automatically archived on 14-Feb-2021 and they are archived for 2 years prior to deletion from the system.
In case you lose your files, you will be able to retract them in this given 2 years period but not after that.
