So far the term "conservation status" is always connected to a clear set of categories and criteria to assess the risk of extinction of a species. I don't want to argue the rank well established (by IUCN). Do you think that the conservation status just give you the rank and conservation actions dealing with that rank?

Or even more it is not just a rank but It is a matter of degree/level of specific area conservation based on the status of species living in that area.
