I 'm currently working on how EFM gives a trusty modulation in complex corrosion behavior. I can have a I usually get pretty good causality factor check under simple solution. While I starting experiment with inhibitors, the causality factor 3 is quite off. Dose it mean I have a very noise current signal at intermodulation frequencies and higher harmonics frequencies? Or does it mean I have some limitation in reaction(diffusion or solution controlled)I try to lower my base frequency to have more sensitivity at the double layer. But its does not help. I do need a good causality factors check to be able use the modulated Tafel's.
