Do you mean that this is a secondary effluent? Please specify the value of TDS, for what reason do you want to reduce it? I agree with Dr. Bachir Achour, or simply Filtration or even Softening if the wastewater does not contain suspended solids. Regards

Your question is to general. It is not possible to answer without knowing what kind and what quality of wastewater to be treated. I do not agree with Prof. Bachir Achour: How to treat the wastewater from diary industry having high TDS concentration as well as high fat concentration?
