I do not think so. The UN has shown inability to curb the economic and political interests of large corporations, has not been able to resolve the conflicts that arise between them. The negative effects of the pre-eminence of these interests have been disastrous for the population and the environment. Given this scenario, it is not possible to rely on global strategies because each region confronts them according to the rationality of the local actors.
