Hello everyone,

Pop scientists such as Neil Degrasse Tyson, Michio Kaku, Stephen Hawking, Brian Cox, Brian Greene and some others have huge impact on people around the world. This could be inferred by their presence on media, social platforms, the number of followers they have in social media... As an example, now Neil Degrasse Tyson has 2.2M followers on Instagram.

At the same time there are many statements by them that don't meet the Characteristics of scientific research such as being empirical, objective and replicable!

In reality, the claims in scientific research must be subject to falsifiability!

* Lets have several examples:

In a YouTube clip by Big Think (1), Michio Kalu says: "...trillions of years from now we will be able to bend space and time like a Pretzel and go to another universe..."

* It is clear that this claim which sounds weird is not falsifiable!

Another example, There are books such "Death by Black Hole" (2007) by Neil Degrasse Tyson, Or How to Die in Space (2021) by Paul M. Sutter, The titles show what could be found inside them!, not only strange they are but also now there are new

so called theories that believe, we live inside a black hole.

Michio Kaku: "The Big Bang Was Wrong - We live Inside A BLACK HOLE!" (2)

* So I personally don't know, if a black hole kills me, or saves me!!!

There are too many other un falsifiable claims by them, I am to share them here later.

What do you think? if you know any of such claims please share them,

Thank you.
