What do you prefer? A specilaised LSP with a limited range of high quality logistics services, or a one-stop shop LSP? Why? What are the main logistics services that you ask for?
LSP has been long specialized in several services in freight forwarding, warehousing and transportation. These services are considered common and you can always obtain from LSP regardless of their size of operations. In view of the cost related consideration, many companies in general prefer LSP with multiple capabilities rather than specialized LSP, as a result of the economic of scale operations. Companies in the long run can benefit from the lower cost LSP and able to solve the 'varieties' of challenging and complex logistics functions in the daily operations.
