As I understand it publishers must list all contributors and chapter titles in edited collections. This is so in their own promotional materials, and in what they pass on to places like Google.

If, and only if, the various materials in the book are difficult to separate by author can they nominate a single contributor as sole author of the entire work.

Is this correct? If so what are the consequences of them nominating a sole author when the various contributions are readily separable by author. Could I claim they have violated any contract between us, and publish on this site?

Thanks in advance
