In literature, the peak temperatures in a DTG plot are associated with the mass loss rates (%/deg C). What does it mean if the rates change with respect to the composition of the polymer?
DTG peak maximum simply refers to point/temperature where the weight loss rate is maximum (in case of non-isothermal runs) or in other word; inflection point of chemical or physical event. Of course, rate DOES change with respect to the composition. Therefore, conversion values would be different at the DTG peak points of different samples.
