I'm looking at psychophysiology post-processing software and would love to hear people's impressions of a few leading software packages. For context, I primarily do ECG-based heart rate variability research, but also need to process BVP data from PPG sensors, basic accelerometry, and electrodermal activity. I do a combination of lab-based psychophys assessments and ambulatory monitoring.
Am looking at MindWare, LabChart, or AcqKnowledge. I have used WinCPRS in the past; though very powerful, I didn't find it to be super user friendly, and found it took a long time for students to pick up. I've also used Kubios, which is nice for HRV analyses, but obviously can't process other signals.
Appreciate any thoughts folks have about these suites, or any other psychophys signal post-processing software I should look at.

I have only worked in LabChart, thus I cannot make any comparisons regarding the other processing softwares. Yet, my experience with LCh is very positive: the options/features LCh delivers have been sufficient and it is rather user-friendly, if that qualifies as a requirement. There are some tutorials regarding HRV/BVP, so I recommend you to check it to get the feeling of the software:

Thanks Martin, really appreciate your input. May I ask, have you used this software to post-process longer ambulatory recordings? It looks easy to work with for short lab-based recordings, but I'm curious about how nimble it is with longer ambulatory recordings.
Also, at one point the folks at LabChart told me they have not validated their HRV analysis suite for use with BVP data. Have you tried analyzing BVP recordings, and if so, did you have any issues?

David, I used LCh for offline post-processing, mostly. The recordings were usually no longer than 2h. Unfortunately, I have not worked with BVP measurements, hopefully someone else will be able to comment on this matter. Best, M.
