I am working on the health of eel assemblages of two Rivers; one highly disturbed while the other has relatively lower disturbance. Can cell counts show the difference in the health of these assemblages of different rivers? ie Can the ceel counts show which is more healthier than the other?
Yes, there is a range of normal values of white blood cells in all animals. Elevation can show cancer or infection, as can lowered values. I'm a veterinarian as well as ecologist :)
