Suppose a molecule happens to have three intermediate states (including the Franck-Condon state) in the excited state, and the ground state recovery shows triexponential behavior. What could be the possible assignment of the three time components? Even if we say the first ultrashort time component is because of ground state bleaching, still the rest two time component assignment needs explanation.

well I know all of the fundamental processes which can appear in TA spectrum. I am talking about a particular situation, where in suppose I have distinguished three squential excited states; the Franck-Condon state, the charge transfer state, and isomerization state. from the TA data, I could also get the ground state recovery data. Now when I try to fir the GSR transients, there are three time constant i need to fit. One of them i am assigning to the ground state bleach which is of the order of time duarion of the pump pulse. the third time component which is same as the decay of isomerization state is assigned to the recovery of the ground state. Now I am confused on the second time constant, Is there a possibility that i can assign it to the recovery of the charge transfer state. I hope you can visualize the actual situation now..
