I am running an excited state PES scan about one of the torsional coordinates in a molecule. The calculation runs for some 9 scans but after that an error shows up and terminates the calculation. the error is:

"Unable to restart since not pure spin-state"

Could any of you have a solution for this issue and as well let me know the reason for this error?
