What could be the possible new applications if the temperature at the focus of a solar furnace were increased from 3500 degree ( the maximum possible value by the PROMES-CNRS solar facility) to ,for example, 4300 degrees ?

from my point of view, many reduction reaction requires high temperature,
1- MgO reduction to Mg (with and without catalyst)
2- ZnO reduction
3- Al2O3 reduction in the presence of carbon
4- TiO2 reduction in presence of Mg catalyst
5- SiO2 reduction with catalyst (carbon)
6- Energy storage applications

Is it possible to achieve direct reduction of Mg, Si and Ti etc. from their respective MgO, SiO2 and TiO2 etc ? without thermal carbon process, at temperature well above 4000K ?
