What could be the many interpretations of the Bass Model?

The Bass model has drawn a lot of research over the years and subsequent research has interpreted the model in numerous ways like Lekhvall and Kahlani. I would love to know any other ways the expression for the Bass model f(t)/(1-F(t))=p+qF(t) could be interpreted including the coefficients p & q.
