What could be reason for getting two emission peaks upon the interaction of Bovine Serum Albumin and 8 anilinonaphthlene-1- sulphonic acid?

ANS dye is binds to hydrophobic patches on protein molecules. When I interact ANS with BSA in Phosphate buffer saline, I obtain two emission peaks at 446nm and at 517nm. What could be the possible reason for getting these two peaks?
