All such gas production is due to improper digestion of some food.
Many people develop lactose intolerance after certain age. They can not digest lactose of milk (less or deficient lactase enzyme in intestine to break it). Tea, coffee etc. mixed with milk or direct milk taking can cause indigestion and flatulence.
Gas/Acidity /Constipation (G/A/C) may create a vicious cycle.
I would like to share my personal experience with all these ailments.
In the year 2015, I had to undergo Cardiac Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG). This being a major operation, during, and after it for almost an year I had to take a lot of medicines. Because of all these factors I suffered a lot from G/A/C.
To counter these above-mentioned ailments, I adopted the following two steps.
(1) Drink a lot of water 3-4 litres a day to flush out toxins from the body in the form of urine. This also helps in regulating bowel movement.
(2) Eat a lot of vegetables, fruits and other food items containing roughage. This is aimed at achieving regular bowel movement and associated cleansing of the whole system.
In addition to the aforesaid steps, I also avoided taking tea / coffee and any other food item (fried, oily foods etc.) that can give rise to G/A/C.
This strategy helped me in coming out of the trauma.
