Can you insure that your study will be free of bias…free of mistakes...free of misunderstandings due to your inexperience with their business model. - Based on the information you provide I too would not grant access. You need to present a detailed brief of what you want to study. And present the areas that will be off limits. Lastly, you need to offer the company control of final edits. over what you want to study and publish. - In other words - first show respect for their intellectual property and then illuminate reasons why they should trust you with the latter.
