How will you see biomedical engineering data maped on graph networks
An interesting question. In my opinion, the use of advanced information processing technology in Big Data database systems will be comprehensive. Currently, many companies operating in various sectors, usually information technology but also production technologies, build their Big Data database systems, which are connected to Business Intelligence analytics systems and data processing in the cloud, using Internet of Things technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, ... ., with the provision of the service of such systems built on mobile devices, e.g. for a smartphone with access to the Internet, enables the use of the above advanced data processing technologies in various areas of business activity. In connection with the above, I believe that advanced information processing technologies in Big Data database systems will also be used in biomedicine.
According to literature there are four types of NoSQL database, Value-key store, Document store, Column family store and graph store. Graph store is very good for represettation of the model based on relationship among nodes that represent an object or atomic data you can see the following tools: Neo4j, OrientDB, Infinity graph and others. Neo4j includes several algortims for computing page rank, level of authority, minimal path and other. There is other tool that you can use for Big data processing using commodity computer, such as Apache Spark, this tool includes Spark Graph for graph processing in parallel
