I really need help in my undergraduate research because I am following a timetable. I just need to assess the level of resilience of selected nurses in the local setting.
P.S. As an undergraduate, I am finding it difficult to access resilience scales because they are blocked with a paywall.
If you can change the "resilience" variable in your research with the "grit" variable (admittedly, the constructs are not exactly same but they overlap), then the "grit scale" with good validity and reliability parameters can be found at this link:

James, resilience research has benefited from renewed attention, not least because of the recent COVID-19 crisis and the attendant need to generate resilience qualities and properties. You may find the work of Cooke et al. (2013) on ascertaining the extent to which uncertainty and burnout aspects impact on the resilience of GP registrars within the Australian context. You may need to validate the afore-used constructs in line with your study's objective. Interesting stuff.

Good luck with your research; I hope you find something suitable. When I was conducting a follow-up to a research project, I looked at resilience and found it such an interesting and relevant topic, but I didn't measure my participant's resilience.

Hi @ James Constantine Miami, check the links you have been provided above. Try to see what resilience scales are often use in recent publications. Then, decide which one may work for your purpose based on the description of their measures in existing articles you can access. Look for the scale developer(s) and their institutional email and reach out to request the instrument(s). Usually, researchers who develop scales are kind enough to send you the scale(s) and the associated article(s).

Hi! I used the PERMA (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement) Profiler by Dr. Martin Seligman (2011). This measures 'flourishing' which is also in line with psychological resilience and wellbeing.
As a primary school teacher in an area of lower socio-economic climate resilience is something many of the children I teach lack and I find one of the important things I need to foster and seek to build this capacity as it affects how much of the learning each of these children actually access. I have noticed that the lack of resilience is coupled with anxiety and so to move my children forward this becomes priority. Being able to dig deep, to persevere when it gets tough is part of life at any age so a vital skill to have to be able to negotiate life well.
To develop a kit or a tool to support those that are finding it difficult to maintain or even, to have, resilience would be a very useful thing.
