Hi, currently I am working on formulating a topical gel using natural compound extraction, which is sea cucumber crude extract, and I am using Carbopol 940 as the gelling agent. However, I encountered a problem when I added the extract to the Carbopol 940 gel-based; the extract will disrupt the gel matrix and turn the gel into a watery form. What are any possible way to solve this?
