No, I am just trying to find the amount of Tatoray catalyst for design project.

Use Liqid Hourly Space Velovity or LHSV (V/hr feedrate)/catalyst volume in the range of 1 to 1.5 Hr -1.

Could you please inform me regarding typical amount of catalyst in tatoray reactor? if I have 79000 kg/ hour flow to reactor. 60% hydrogen on molar basis.

I found catalyst weigh very low, like 400 kg. and want to know that this is appropriate for my input flow or not?

The design mass of Tatoray catalyst is typically between 50 and 75% of the total mass of aromatics (Toluene + C9+ Aromatics + any Xylene in the feed). The catalyst packed density(g/cc) is typically about 10% greater than the feed density. if you have 79 TE/hr flow catalyst mass should be between 40 and 60 TE for an anticipated 3-4 yr run length. It could be as low as 20-30 TE if you are willing to accept shorter run lengths..

And one more thing, what about temperature of reaction? I have feed temperature to the tatoray reactor 360'C. what will be typical outlet temperature? Do I need to use cooling system in order to assume isothermal operation. or adiabatic?

Teperatue rise depends on feed quality but typical conditions are 360 C inlet and 380 C outlet
