Attached is the picture of a PA6 hot pressed sheet. These white spots are observed when Akulon F223D PA6 granules (unprocessed) are hot pressed into a sheet.
They don't appear in the case of K125 (a low viscosity PA6 grade).
I noticed a few percent larger-sized and irregular-shaped granules only in Akulon F223 and I guess the white spots are caused by these odd granules.
Any idea what these are?

did you try to enhance temperature (pay attention to degradation) ? or cast?

Did you try EDX on these spots?
You can use EDX exactly on these spots to determine which elements are exist in, then you could have a decision about them
Could you do EDX and send a picture of it?

the problem with EDX is that it is not sensitive to C, O, N and H usually but why not. Or maybe use ATR spectroscopy?
A good method for checking if it is antioxidants: measure and compare the thermal oxidative resistance (by DSC under O2) of white spots and regular zones
