I've made a microfluidic chip using standard photolithography (SU8 photoresist). Cleaned with O2 plasma treatment and methanol for alignment.

I used it by flowing some filtered DI water with beads or cells. I flushed everything out of the chip with alot of filtered DI water and then left it over the weekend (with tubings plugged-in). Then I saw these small and many speckles developed (picture).

I also see these speckles after I've sonicated the PDMS chip, which I'll used for cleaning.

They don't look like bacteria, but does anyone know what they are?
