What are the ways to achieve case Hardness of ADI more than 58HRC to Replace conventional case hardened steels for Pinion applications?

Focusing on ADI material to replace conventional case hardened steels which has beneficial of weight reduction and damping characteristics. I found ADI can be through hardened by austempering up to 52 HRC approx.My goal is to produce ADI pinion with case Hardness of more than 58HRC and core of more than 32HRC. will any metallic coating /Laser HT help to attain above?
