LSPR is a unique property of few noble metals (Au, Ag, Cu) to convert visible light into chemical energy. Architecture of these nanomaterials to tune their absorption wave length to near IR range (1000-1400 nm) has found wide range of applications.
What would be the suitable light sources to use these nanomaterials as photocatalysts in near IR wavelength range for organic conversions?

I've had to conduct some experiments in the near IR range using a YAG-Nd laser source, the goal was to measure the transmittance of some materials. So I hope this could guide your intuition. Sorry for being not able to provide more details.

Photoluminescent materials can be used in which desired range of IR can be obtained.
In this case IR PL can be used .Which produce better effects.

Xe arc lamp (max 1000 nm) may not be suitable for these materials. What do you think?
Nd-YAG is a good source, you can also get very inexpensive diode lasers in the near-IR, but if you want single-mode, you should go with the Nd-YAG.
